Role Location: Horncastle, Lincs

Role Description

Do you want more, bigger, better and joined areas where wildlife thrives in Greater Lincolnshire? Do you want to be part of a team that helps inform the building blocks for the next Environmental Land Management Scheme (ELMS) in England?

We are seeking two people with excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to work with land managers and other sectors across the Humberhead Levels and South Lincolnshire Fens. We have secured two of the national ELMS Tests and need people to facilitate and deliver these two landscape-scale explorations into what the scheme might look like in the future.

You will excel at managing competing deadlines and delivering tasks on time to a high quality. These posts require individuals with sound knowledge and understanding of the natural and farmed environment in England and the issues affecting it. Experience in partnership working, advocacy and project management will be essential. As well as having a down to earth approach of working with people to secure consensus, you will have a strong desire to contribute to the development of this new scheme and how it can deliver public goods for public funds and nature’s recovery in some of the most productive land in the country. A full current UK driving licence is also required.

We are open to offering these as secondment opportunities.

See downloads below for further job details and application form.

Closing date 12 noon Friday 4 December 2020.
