Indoor wildlife watching

There are lots of wildlife webcams up and running this spring. If you can’t get out much, or just want to see something close-up that you won’t find in your garden, here’s a selection.

British Antarctic Survey have a live blue tit webcam at the moment. Once the blue tits fledge, they’ll switch to their kestrel camera. You can view it here.

The Wildlife Trusts have cameras all across the country, featuring puffins on Alderney, bats in Essex, osprey in Scotland, and much in between. Have a look through their live footage here.
