| CCF is an active, but loosely structured network of over 30 conservation-related member organisations and institutions based in and around Cambridge . It has a constitution , which was agreed in 2002, and decisions are taken by a Council. Council meetings are held 3 times per year and may be attended by representatives of any CCF member organisation. The Committee comprising a Chair, deputy chair, secretary and treasurer are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Forum.

Membership
Membership is open to not-for-profit organisations, and institutions, including governmental bodies, and universities involved in conservation policy, practice and research. Individuals with an active interest in conservation research, policy or advice but who are not in a member organisation may become "Friends" of the Forum.
Organisations that have a statutory requirement to protect the environment as part of their raison d'etre may also be Members. Members can be whole organisations, or departments within organisations. Organisations may have more than one department represented each as a separate member subject to agreement by the Council. Individuals with an active interest in conservation research, policy or advice but who are not in a member organisation may become "Friends" of the Forum.

To become a member or a friend of the CCF please contact a member of the Committee with a letter requesting membership, which will discussed at the next council meeting. |
